New warehousing in Poland for quicker deliveries in Eastern Europe
As part of our continual program of growth and improvement at Multipanel UK, we are extremely pleased to announce major investment in new warehousing facilities in central Poland that are due to commence operation in September this year. Combined with the recent commissioning of our second production line, this move will enhance the service we provide by reducing delivery lead times for smaller urgent pallet deliveries to our distribution partners. This will strengthen our joint ability to supply more panels quickly and take a bigger market share.
Making our products more readily available and increasing our pro-active sales activity will enable us to grow levels of business by developing new markets and feeding new end-user customers back to our network of local distribution partners.
Benjamin Wozniak-Baron, Director of Sales for Eastern Europe, said “The need for these new storage facilities was driven primarily by the constant growth in demand for our Aluminium Composite Panels and we are already looking into other locations in South-East Europe which we will confirm soon. We have significantly increased production at our factory in the UK and these new warehouse facilities in key strategic locations will not only supplement the amount of stock we have on the ground but will also improve the flexibility of our distribution capabilities, helping us support growing customer needs much more quickly and efficiently. ”
Since opening our UK factory just five years ago, the relentless growth in demand has prompted significant supplementary investments including the installation of a second production line and increasing the capacity of our Distribution Centre by 50%. Our perpetual evolution has not only helped to boost the quality and value of our products but has also created significant growth in the number of opportunities for people to join our enthusiastic and committed team.
We are also committing major investment to reduce the environmental impact of our increasing productivity. Currently under construction adjacent to our UK factory, we are building our own recycling centre where suitable plastics will be recycled to supplement our supply chain with a more sustainable source of raw materials.
