Multipanel UK meets students at the University of Kent Autumn Careers Fair

Multipanel UK returned to the University of Kent Autumn Careers Fair on Thursday 22 October 2026, our second careers event here, where HR Manager Caris Lockwood spoke to students about graduate roles in procurement, planning and sustainability, among others.

The fair took place at the Colyer-Fergusson Concert Hall on the Canterbury Campus and was run by the university’s Careers and Employability Service. It is open to students from every discipline and year group, which suits a manufacturer with roles across multiple areas of its business.

Multipanel UK is the only manufacturer of Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) in the UK, and students rarely meet that kind of business at a careers fair. Caris spoke to them about the graduate roles we have filled this year. We have placed a Procurement Buyer and a Demand Planner, and we are currently interviewing for an Environmental & Sustainability Manager. She also shared feedback from our new graduates on what life at Multipanel UK has been like since they joined. Students who wanted to hear about future roles registered their interest on the day.

Our graduates join a business that supplies the UK market and exports to 30 markets around the world, so beyond production and engineering, finance and sales our roles involve supply chain, customers and regulations well beyond on a global scale. Multipanel UK is also a member of ALFED, the Aluminium Federation, the trade body for the UK aluminium industry.

A whiteboard on the stand asked what matters most in a first role. Progression, pay, flexibility and training collected the most ticks. Students also added their own answers: confidence, support and work life balance.

The stand was built from our flagship Alupanel product in brushed aluminium finish and the whiteboard is Multishield, our galvanised steel panel with a dry erase finish, both made here and carried our slogan, “Manufacture Your Future with Multipanel UK”. Multipanel UK is also a member of Made In Britain.

Thank you to the students who stopped to talk, and to the University of Kent Careers and Employability Service for hosting the fair.
